We love soap!
We love making it, we love the feel of a soft bar in our hands, the
shape, the scent, the colors. We love every step of this age old
process. There is nothing better than a handmade bar of soap for
your skin. Your skin is the largest human organ. Shouldn't
you give it the care it deserves?
When you buy
soap made by Palmer Soapworks you can rest assured that you are
receiving the highest degree of quality out there. All of our
soap is created using high quality oils, unrefined butters and fresh
products. Each batch is hand measured, hand stirred, hand
poured, hand cut and hand wrapped.
We do use
some animal oils and animal products (milk, beeswax) in some of our soap. We've
added ingredient listings to the end of each of our product descriptions so you know what
you're getting before you buy it. Soap made with animal oil has
a completely different feel than pure vegetable soap. We also
use a variety of pigments, fragrance oils and essential oils.
While fragrance oils are synthetic, they give a much wider range of
scent than essential oils. This prevents us from feeling so
limited in our recipe collection. Pigments and oxides are also
used (and noted) in some bars. Once again, we are allowed to be
much more artistic with pigments. We also understand and respect
ones desire to use completely natural soap. We do offer a few
types of completely natural, animal friendly soap. We
never test on animals, only willing family and friends.
We make soap
in small batches so that we can offer dozens of scents and varieties,
and a guaranteed fresh bar every time. If you're not happy,
we're not happy!
